Home Delivery Information

Zone 1 - Local delivery - Napier, includes some Hastings postcodes

This includes Taradale, Greenmeadows, Tamatea, Onekawa, Marewa, Maraenui, CBD, Ahuriri, Te Awa, Awatoto, Westshore, and Meeanee.

Expected delivery times on the day of delivery. 

If collected by the morning courier, your order should be delivered by 1.30pm.

If collected by the afternoon courier, your order should be delivered by approximately 5pm. 

Zone 2 - Hastings, Havelock North, Clive delivery

Expected delivery times on the day of delivery. 

If collected by the morning courier, your order should be delivered by 1.30pm.

If collected by the afternoon courier, your order should be delivered by approximately 5pm. 

Zone 2 - Rural delivery 

This includes Bayview, Puketiritiri, Poriati, Puketapu, Omaranui, Te Awanga, Haumoana, Clifton. 

NB: There are some rural restrictions due to the effects of the cyclone. If you are on the far outskirts or are close to damaged areas, please call us to discuss if we can offer delivery. We are more than happy to call the courier company and check your address.

Note: If you're not sure what zone your delivery falls into, please check our deliveries page online or call the bakery to check. 

Courier vs Local Delivery. We have started local delivery for the purposes of delivering our baked goods to your door. If you are ordering from our non-perishable product range and would like your order delivered, you can select North Island courier. If you require a same day delivery, please select local delivery. If you are not sure which delivery options to choose, please give us a call. 

Important note about order responsibility: once your order leaves the bakery, it is no longer the responsibility of The Picnic. If yourself or the recipient of the order is not home when the order is delivered it is your responsibility to provide any specific instructions to leave in a safe place where the order can not be damaged.

Public holidays and the Saturday’s or public holiday weekends. We do not offer delivery on public holidays or the Saturdays of public holiday weekends (i.e. For Labour weekend in October, we will not be delivering on the Saturday of that long weekend).
